These sculptures are made from salvaged burl wood from the Pacific North West and the natural voids have been inlaid with different types of minerals and gem stones. The sculptures are modeled on various mineral geometries and classic lapidary forms and the burlwood pieces balance on their driftwood bases with magnets.
I upload my newest inventory to the website every Sunday morning so if you visited my booth at a recent show, then you might have seen some the pieces currently listed in my shop.
This sculpture is modeled on a Fluorite formation and made with Buckeye Burl inlaid with Green Turquoise.
